Grandpa Darren's

The other day mommy took me over to visit Grandpa Darren.  He had a present he wanted to give me and also just wanted to see me so we stopped by for alittle bit.

He put me to sleep :)

Baptism Gown Before......

Mommy is turning her wedding dress into my baptism gown and I think this is really special.  She tells me she is never going to wear it again and I think its going to be really special.  The dress isn't done yet and we are getting really excited to see it but here are a few pics of before the dress gets cut up and also of me getting measured.........

My baptism is coming up real soon Feb. 6th and I will have mommy post pictures of the end result after.  This is also a very special weekend coming up as I will get to meet my daddy's parents for first time!  So excited to meet Grandpa and Grandma Hanekamp from Texas :)

Uncle Carter's #1 Fan

So I just love to go to my Uncle Carter's basketball games.  I usually end up getting in some pretty good sleep during them but hey at least I'm there right?  Anyway so since I'm his biggest fan mommy and grandma decided I should support him with a cute outfit so they made me this.....

I think its cute! Don't you?? :)

Mommy's been slacking

I keep telling her she needs to take a minute to get some pics on here of me, but she's so amazed by me that all we do is play, eat, get my diaper changed, and sleep.  Aparently when I sleep this is when mommy gets other stuff done around the house.

Mommy just loves my hands and feet and is always taking pictures of them.  These are for my scrapbook so she can always rememeber how little I was :)

This is me at a week old.  Mommy is going to take a pic every month of me right here so you can see how much I grow and hopefully the dog will cooperate so we can compare size.

My Great Aunt and Uncle came from Nevada and were oh so kind to come visit me.  The third picture is of my 2nd Cousin Kannon and myself.

First Real Bath

So after about 7 days or so my gross dried out umbilical cord fell off and I was able to have a big kid bath or so that's what mommy called it.  Here are a couple pics

Sponge Bath Time!

Well I had my very first sponge bath shortly after coming home from the hospital.  Grandma Leah was oh so kind to help mommy with my bath and also making me really mad  :(  Mommy took a few pictures just to have but came to comfort me because she didn't like to hear me cry.

Whenever I get my diaper changed or a change of clothes I like to make it alittle more difficult than it needs to be by stretching out and not letting up.  This just seems to make them laugh!

My First Christmas!

I spent my very first Christmas Eve with my grandpa's side of the family.  I was such a good girl while everyone ate they barely even knew I was there. Here are a few photos from Christmas Eve

Christmas Day was spent with Grandma's side of the family.  First we went to visit Great-Great Grandma Alice and Great-Great Grandpa Sig in the nursing home.   If you didn't catch on that makes me part of 5 generations.  Mommy says this is very rare and very special!  I decided since I just loved to wear my elf outifit and since nothing else fits right now because I'm so little I'd just wear it again on Christmas Day.  After visiting in the nursing home we came back to Grandma's made Dinner and spent the rest of the evening together.
